“Our onions are handled with the utmost care”

Burg Machinery recently delivered two gantry-type crate unloaders to the Spanish onion packing station Cebollas Consuay. “It really makes us happy to hear from the customer that they are already experiencing the added value in their process,” Burg stated on LinkedIn.

“We’re pleased with the way the onions are guided through the process. It’s an efficient and user-friendly machine. Our onions are handled with the utmost care,” the packing station stated.

In addition to preventing quality loss, the systems help create a calmer environment in the factory by reducing forklift traffic. This is due to the new ability to create a large buffer of bins, which in turn ensures a more consistent flow throughout the entire process.
