Short buffering channels for buffering fruit.

The Burg short buffering channels provide a revolutionary way to buffer fruit after pre-sorting, not only apples but also (non-floating) pears. The short buffering channels store the products in multiple layers in the channels. This is done using a sophisticated water flow system that carefully stacks the fruit in several layers underwater. As a result, these channels are only a third the length of traditional buffer channels. This saves considerable space, especially when a large number of different pre-selections have to be made.
